WONDERFUL COCONUT GROVE!

Coconut Grove, a delightful village on the shores of Biscayne Bay in Miami is full of great experiences. Quirky boutiques, sidewalk cafes, restaurants catering to a myriad of palates, art galleries, sailing, boardwalks along the Bay, and variety of community fairs and events that are scheduled throughout the year. We’ve listed a few of our favorites for you to savor.

Brunch at the popular GreenStreet Café on the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Highway.
Explore the independently owned boutiques along the charming village streets.
Take sailing lessons at the Coconut Sailing Club on S. Bayshore Drive.
Indulge in wine and a bit to eat at the movie. Paragon Grove 13 Theater in Cocowalk has a the Backlot Wine Bar right in the theater for your enjoyment and convenience.
Attend the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, a juried art festival that is a nationally known event. Since 1963 the Arts Festival, housed along S. Bayshore Drive, is a magnet for art lovers and takes place annually during the President’s Day Weekend in February.
Experience Kennedy Park with or without your dog. Kennedy Park, along the shores of Biscayne Bay, is a vast expanse of green right within the Village of Coconut Grove. Here you will find exercise equipment ,and a walking trail, volleyball courts, lovely setting areas under cool shade trees, as well, as a special area devoted to taking your dog out to meet other dogs and their owners. Don’t’ forget to stop at the Grove’s famous A.C. Ices, he has the best lemonade in town. The queue begins early.
Enjoy a burger at the newest place in town Lokal, on Commodore Plaza. Only two years in the making and it has a loyal following.
Go bar hopping late into the night at the many bars on the streets of the Grove.
Learn some Coconut Grove history, take a guided tour of the Barnacle. This site is a state park within the Grove and contains the home to one of the early settlers of Coconut Grove, Ralph Munroe. You can tour his home and attend one of the many events that take place there – movies, picnics, music events, watching the moon over Miami and an array of other events. These are family centered events for all to enjoy in the balmy Miami weather.
Join the crowd for the monthly art walks. These are magical evenings strolling the tree lighted streets of Coconut Grove popping into the many art galleries. Attendees are invited to a glass of wine and refreshments while enjoying the art. Perhaps you may be lucky enough to talk with the featured artist.
